Inspired by the moving words of Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe, this exhibition brings together the work of six artists who have explored the simple versus the complex. Here, the importance of detail brings a religious aspect to each artist’s work and practice, which focuses upon the subtle things in life.
The Paul McPherson Gallery will exhibit a selection of works produced in a variety of media – from photography to installation. Each artist has experimented with a limited colour palette, working primarily with black and white and only using a touch of colour in order to capture the essence of their chosen subject.
In ‘God is in the details’ we see diversity, both in the works of art and in the different ways each artist has interpreted and responded to the title of the exhibition. The result is an extraordinary range of work that uses the gallery space to its full potential.
